Remembering the day Sushmita Sen made history - Last May 21 marked the 22nd anniversary of Sushmita Sen’s reign as the Miss Universe 1994. This is memorable not only to Sushmita but also to her homeland India for she was the first Indian woman to be crowned Miss Universe. The pageant was held in the Philippines.
