Duterte grants lawyer power to open BPI bank account in Julia Vargas branch - Davao City Mayor Rodrigo Duterte has given his lawyer, Salvador Panelo, the authority to open his bank account at the Bank of the Philippine Island (BPI)-Julia Vargas branch in Ortigas, Pasig City to disprove allegations by Senator Antonio Trillanes IV that he has hidden millions in the bank.
