Presidential rivals take swipe at Duterte for rape statement: Presidential candidate Rodrigo “Rody” Duterte is on the hot seat again, after making a statement about an Australian woman who was taken hostage and raped in Davao City Jail in 1989. At that time, Duterte was serving his first term as mayor. His rivals Sen. Grace Poe, Manuel “Mar” Roxas II, and Vice President Jejomar Binay also took the chance to take a swipe at him.
